A little information about Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl was a British author.  He was born in 1916 and died in 1990.  He wrote books and screen plays.  One of his famous children books is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which is also a movie.

When he was young he went to boarding school where he was not treated nicely.  So in many of his children books there is a bad adult who treats children mean. And there is one good adult who helps the children.

  1. This will be useful tomorrow, when we discuss Roald Dahl's younger years.
Lars thought Matilda was a good example of a bad adult treating children meanly. Great work! Mr. S.
